How Are ceramic coatings applied?

Wash & Decontaminate Paint – The first step in installing a ceramic coating is to properly cleanse the paint of all existing wax or polymers. We thoroughly wash your vehicle & rub a lubricated clay bar to mechanically decontaminate the paint. During this process we also completely detail the exterior from top to bottom.

Polishing / Paint Correction – Once the paint is cleansed, we begin the process of removing as many defects as possible which include water spots, swirls, scratches, etching from bugs, etc. This process is the most tedious aspect of a coating job and it takes 5-12 hours on average. This is followed by a quick re-cleansing of the paint prior to coating to ensure the coating gets laid on a bare surface otherwise, it will not bond and will not last long.

Coating Application – We apply a professional-grade ceramic coating panel-by-panel using a 3-step method (Layer, Level, Wipe). Once the coating is applied to all surfaces that were included in your package, we cure the coating (harden) and prepare it for you to pickup.
